The deal, in plain words.

What you can expect from Par, and what Par expects from you. By creating an account or using Par, you agree to it.

Terms of use · Last updated October 31, 2026

The short version

  • What you put in Par is yours. We only use it to run Par for you.
  • The AIs you connect act for you. Check what matters before you rely on it.
  • Don't use Par to break the law or to hurt anyone.
  • Par has a free plan. Paid plans show their price before you pay, and you can cancel anytime.
  • You can leave anytime. Ask your AI for a copy of your data, or write to us for one.

The agreement

These terms are the agreement between you and GUSTAVO SCANFERLA ARAUJO TECNOLOGIA DA INFORMACAO, CNPJ 24.465.863/0001-00, Gustavo Scanferla's company in Brazil, which runs Par at par.works ("Par", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Par, you agree to them.

If you use Par for a company or another organization, you confirm you're allowed to agree for it.

Our Privacy policy explains what we do with your data. It's part of this agreement.

These terms are also in Portuguese. In Brazil, the Portuguese version applies. Everywhere else, this English version does.

Your account

You need to be 18 or older to use Par. Use a real email address, keep your password to yourself, and tell us right away through the contact form if you think someone else got in.

Your workspace is everything you, the people you invite and the AIs you connect save in Par: records, notes, memories, chats, apps and routines. To give someone access, invite them to your workspace or share an app with them. Don't hand over your login.

You're responsible for what happens in your account, including what the AIs you connect do there.

Your content stays yours

Between you and us, everything you put in Par, and everything Par makes for you, is yours. We claim no ownership of it.

To run Par, we need your permission to store your content, copy it, process it with the AI services Par uses, and show it to you and to the people you share it with. You give us that permission only for running Par, keeping it safe and following the law. It ends when you delete the content or close your account, except for backup copies until they expire and for what you already shared.

We don't use your content to train AI models, and we don't sell it.

Only put in Par what you have the right to put there.

Working with AI

Par works with the AI you connect and with AI of its own. AI can be wrong, can misunderstand you, and can do something you didn't mean. Check what matters before you rely on it, and look twice at anything that's hard to undo.

When you approve an AI in Par, it can read, create, change and delete things in that workspace for you. Connect only AIs you trust, and ask them only for what you're allowed to do yourself.

Par doesn't give medical, legal or financial advice, and it isn't an emergency service.

The company behind your AI has its own terms. Using Par doesn't change them.

Apps and sharing

Apps in Par are made by AI, by you, or by people who share them with you. We don't review every app. Open apps only from people you trust: an app shared with you in Par runs inside your signed-in Par session.

When you share an app, the people you share it with can see the records that app uses, and editors can change them. When you share a link to an app or a file, anyone with the link can open it, without a Par account. People can keep copies of what you showed them.

Sharing gives access, not ownership. The people you share with can't republish your work unless you tell them they can.

Services you connect

Par can connect to services like Google Calendar, Slack, Notion, Linear and GitHub. Connect only accounts you're allowed to use. Those services have their own terms.

Disconnecting a service stops Par's access. It doesn't delete what Par already brought in, and it doesn't cancel your plan with that service.

Fair use

Don't use Par to:

  • break the law, or help someone else break it;
  • harm, harass, threaten or deceive people;
  • share sexual content involving minors, ever;
  • get into accounts or data that aren't yours;
  • spread malware or spam, or attack Par or anyone else;
  • get around Par's limits or security, or overload it;
  • pretend that Par made, checked or endorses your app or your work.

Connecting your AIs and automating your own work through Par's tools is what Par is for. That's fair use.

We may set usage limits to keep Par fast and affordable for everyone.

Price

Par has a free plan and paid plans. Every plan gets all of Par: a bigger plan only gives your Par more room. The Pricing page always has the current prices. As of the date above, they are:

  • Free: $0, no card needed. 2,000 memories, 200 MB of files and 5 images a month.
  • Pro: US$20 a month, or R$ 119 in Brazil. 50,000 memories, 10 GB of files and 50 images a month.
  • Max: US$200 a month, or R$ 1.199 in Brazil. 1 million memories, 250 GB of files and 500 images a month.
  • Team: US$10 a person a month, or R$ 59 in Brazil, from 3 people. Each person adds 20,000 memories, 5 GB of files and 10 images a month. We set it up with you.

A plan covers a whole workspace, and everyone in it shares its room. The image count starts again on the 1st of every month. If your Par fills up, nothing is deleted and you can still read and edit everything: only new memories aren't saved until you make room or move up a plan.

Paid plans renew every month until you cancel. Stripe handles the payment: your card goes to Stripe, never to Par. Prices are in US dollars, and in Brazil you pay in reais. Anything else you buy in Par shows its price before you pay and follows these terms.

You can change your card, see your invoices or cancel anytime from your plan page in Par. When you cancel, your plan runs to the end of the month you paid for, and nothing in your Par is deleted. If the law where you live gives you time to change your mind and get your money back, like 7 days in Brazil or 14 days in the EU and the UK, you keep that right.

If a price goes up, we'll tell you before you pay the new price, so you can cancel first. Your AI's own plan is separate: Claude, ChatGPT and the others bill you themselves.

Par itself

Par, its software, its name and its look belong to us. While you have an account, you can use Par for your own life and work.

Don't copy, resell or take apart Par beyond what the law allows. Open-source parts keep their own licenses.

Ending

You can stop using Par anytime. Write to us through the contact form and we'll close your account.

We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other people at risk, or that the law requires us to close. When we can, we'll tell you why first and give you time to take your data out.

If we ever shut Par down, we'll tell you at least 30 days before and give you a way to take your data with you.

No guarantees

We work hard to keep Par running and your data safe, but Par is provided as it is and as available. We can't promise it will never stop, never make a mistake or never lose data. Keep your own copy of anything you can't afford to lose.

As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses, like lost profits or missed opportunities. Our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it, or US$100, whichever is more.

Nothing here removes rights that consumer law gives you and that can't be waived.

Changes

When these terms change, we'll post the new version here with a new date. If a change matters, we'll tell you by email or in Par before it applies. If you keep using Par after that, you accept the new terms. If you don't accept them, you can close your account.

If another company takes over running Par, these terms move to it, and we'll email you before that happens.

Problems

If something goes wrong, write to us first. We'll try to fix it with you directly. This doesn't take away your right to go to a court or a consumer authority where you live.

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, where Par is run. If you use Par as a consumer, Brazil's consumer code lets you take a claim to the courts where you live, and you keep any rights your own country's consumer law gives you.
