  1. Example: Inês and Théo plan their Christmas trip in one app, made in Par. They both use it.

Par already knows she's in Lyon on Dec 23, so her first lesson is the bakery.

A crayon drawing: Inês on the sofa with her laptop and Théo in an armchair with his phone, both looking at the same trip list. He drags the croissant day on his phone, and the same row lifts on her laptop. A packed red suitcase stands between them. The same trip app on Théo's phone, with the same five days and the same two people online.
The trip app Inês and Théo's trip app on a computer: Christmas in Lyon, Dec 22 to 27, both of them online, five days with their places (the train to Lyon, the bakery, the Christmas market, Christmas Eve at Mamie's, Théo's grandma, the train home) and a map of Lyon with the four stops.

Théo needs his own Par account to open it.

The trip lives in one app: the days, the places, who's coming. Inês and Théo both edit it.

What she told Par: Lyon, December 22 to 27. Christmas Eve dinner at Théo's grandma's. That the family says tu, the casual French word for "you".

  2. From that trip plan, her AI made her a French app in Par: the words she'll need, at the places she'll be.

When Théo moves a day, her lesson moves with it.

A crayon drawing: at a bakery counter in Lyon, Inês reads her order in French from her phone while the baker hands her a bag of croissants, and the whole queue behind her waits patiently: an old man with a baguette, a woman with a dachshund, a man checking his watch, a teenager, a mother and her little girl. The same French app on her phone: inside the bakery, the baker's question and Inês's line in speech balloons, "Six croissants, s'il vous plaît.", and a round button to say it.
The French app Inês's French app on a computer, a picture book: Lyon in winter, painted, with Inês on the quay and a dotted path to a bakery, where the baker asks "Bonjour ! Vous désirez ?" (Hello! What would you like?). Drag to walk to the next scene.

    How it started

It started with the family chat she couldn't follow. Her AI, connected to Par, offered to teach her three words, and that card grew into this app.

The family chat, Famille Moreau: Mamie writes "Inês vient pour le réveillon ? Je fais la bûche. Dis-lui qu'on se tutoie !" (Is Inês coming for Christmas Eve? I'm making the yule log. Tell her we say tu.), with three words circled. Her AI, connected to Par, offers: Théo's family writes in French, and you're in Lyon on Dec 22. Learn their French? A card, French for Lyon: le réveillon (Christmas Eve dinner), la bûche (the yule log), on se tutoie (we say tu), with a button to hear it.

Each stop of her walk is a place on the trip plan: the bakery, the Christmas market, the dinner.

Why learn a language with Par.

Your lessons come from your own plans and change when the plans do.

Par A language app Classes or a tutor A chatbot
Where the lessons come from From your own plans: the trip, the call, the people in them. A course written for everyone. From what you tell them about your plans. From what you paste in, or what it remembers about you.
When your plans change The lessons change too. Move a day, and the lesson moves. The course stays the same. When you tell them. When you tell it again.
The words you missed Each one becomes a card that comes back over the days. Yes. Review spread over days is standard. In homework and the next class. Only if you ask it to quiz you.
Sharing it One app for both of you. Each needs a Par account. Your own account and your own course. Lessons for you, or a class you join. A shared chat, if you add someone.

Where the others win: a real teacher hears your accent and reads the room, and an app has a whole course ready on day one.
